Year 10 - 11
In Year 10, you will have the opportunity to take part in Work Related Learning to help you find out more about careers that interest you. This might be activities such as Mystery Guests finding out more about the work they do, Industry awareness visits to workplaces, careers projects and more. This is usually through your careers lessons at school as well as events you may go to such as the Careers and Skills Show.
In Year 11, if you are planning to enter employment or apprenticeships at the end of the year, you will usually have the opportunity to go out on work experience. This will be arranged with the school and Guernsey Work Experience (GWEx) to help ensure a safe and worthwhile placement linked with your career ideas.
