Self-defence lessons help for young women going to university

Young women heading off to university next term are being given the opportunity to learn self-defence. The classes run twice a week and involve a mix of martial arts and self-defence skills. The classes are run by martial arts and self-defence instructor Nicky Hamon and Janet Cowdery and are held every week at the Professor Shaw Community Centre in St Martin's on Mondays and Thursdays.
