Overseas Trust and Pension are looking to recruit a Junior Private Clients Administrator

Work Involved:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Team Leader and with the assistance of the Junior Administrators, the post holder is required to:

  • Manage client's questions and queries ensuring they are addressed and responded to in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Attend to all administrative tasks, associated with and required by the deed and statutory legislation, accurately and in accordance with our Policies and Procedures.
  • Be aware of pension and trust regulations; consistently and accurately applying to schemes/clients.
  • Appropriately store/input and reference all client documentation within the document management system and administration system.
  • Communicate in a professional and timely manner, verbally and via email.
  • Ensure we meet CDD requirements for all members, reviewing files as and when required and in accordance with our policy.
  • Record all client financial transactions, this includes investments, transfers, benefit payments, statutory payments and fee charges.
  • Support, teach and guide junior colleagues in the performance of their duties.
  • Complete any other duties as and when required to drive business success.
  • Adopt and reflect OTAP's values.

Skills and Specific Qualifications Required:

  • A willingness to study towards a professional qualification
  • Strong administration skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
  • An understanding of the necessity to consistently deliver a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of the role.
  • An ability to read/research documents impacting a scheme/trust and apply appropriately.
  • Self-motivation with a drive to meet OTAP's service standards for all clients.
  • Experience with all Microsoft office applications to intermediate level.
  • The ability, both verbally and in writing, to display a confident and professional manner.
  • Experience of working towards and meeting deadlines.
  • A willing and flexible attitude to working hours to support team and business needs, as required.

Pay Range:

19,000 - 23,000 depending on experience and skills level

Training Available:

We will train on the job for daily duties, offer weekly learning sessions in a number of areas of the business including soft skills, offer mandatory AML, Cyber Security Training, Data Protection and Equality and Diversity training. We support additional training in excel should it be required. We will support a driven candidate seeking their STEP or other relevant qualification.

Working Hours and Pattern:

9-5, Monday to Friday
