CHUC seeks to strengthen the relationship between the Bailiwicks of Guernsey and Jersey and the above universities. It aims to promote the opportunities available within higher education to students from the islands. University representatives from CHUC visit the islands regularly to talk to interested students in groups and individually about the options available.
Admissions officers from CHUC universities are also present in the islands during UCAS Clearing to help local 6th formers secure a place on a higher education course if they have missed out on their first choices due to poor A Level grades.

Southampton Solent University has a compact agreement with the Guernsey College of Further Education, The Grammar School, and The Ladies College. This agreement has the aim of increasing participation in higher education, and seeks to bring students to Southampton Solent University from Guernsey.
Sussex Channel Islands Progression Accord (SCIPA) - University of Brighton, University College Chichester and the University of Sussex have an agreement with Schools and Colleges aimed at improving links and providing advice to Students about Higher Education. As part of the Accord, the three HEIS will make certain guarantees about offers or interviews for applicants applying to specific subjects from SCIPA institutions.
