FINANCE BASED COURSES:

BDO Limited
Candidates must hold the offer of a place on a university degree course deferred to the following year of entry. This is to allow him/her to work for a period of 1 year at BDO before commencing university. Candidates must successfully complete the degree course and commit to:
5 week paid work experience during Easter and Summer holidays.
3 years training programme at end of degree
Bursary based upon A Level grades of 280 UCAS points + Grade B at GCSE for Maths and English
£2,000 per year over a 3 year degree course.

BWCI
Are offering £1800 per year payable in three termly instalments of £600 whilst you are at university. BWCI are unable to accept applications from students studying medicine or veterinary science. All other degrees are acceptable. You will need to do a minimum of 2 months work experience during the summer break. Students should have 2 grade A 's at AS Level one of which must be Maths. Grant Thornton
Our bursary award consists of £2,000 per annum payable in 3 instalments. Students must have attained strong GCSE results in English and Maths and excellent A Level results. Students will be required to carry out paid work for 4 weeks at Easter or in the Summer holidays. GSCCA
Bursary of up to £5000 each year for 3 years of studying offered to a student looking to study a business related degree course in the autumn of 2013 at a recognised UK university. Intertrust Guernsey
Interest free loan of £1,500 per year offered to students with the equivalent of 300 UCAS points on condition that they defer their university place for one year. During their year of deferral students will be available for employment at Intertrust. (Repayment of the bursary only due if terms of the bursary are broken)
On completion of their degree they are to work for the Intertrust for a minimum of 3 years and train for a relevant professional qualification.

The Air League Educational Trust
The flying bursary progamme offers 3-5 hours of advanced flying training to PPL holders. The bursaries are funded by industry and by private individuals. Applicants have to be permanently resident in the UK and either be or become members of The Air League. Application forms are available in December with a closing date of the end of February for receipt of completed applications. Bailiwick Medical students are invited to apply for an annual bursary of £1,000 per year for each year of studies up to a maximum of 5 years at a UK Medical School from this Autumn. An interest in property could lead to a £1,000 bursary for best property essay. This bursary will be awarded to a local studdent with an interest in the property sector or related fields. Students aged 17 to 21 are invited to write an essay relating to property. The bursary is intended to help the winning student with the cost of further education beyond 6th Form or College of Further Education. Following a review of the essays, 3 applicants will be selected for a brief informal interview.
